The 8 Limbs of Yoga - A Transformational Experience

Join me as we dive deep into the experience of yoga.

So much of the practice of yoga is meant to be understood experientially and yet we spend so much time trying to intellectually understand this ancient spiritual science.

Join me as we journey through the 8 Limbs of Yoga as set forth by the great sage Patanjali thousands of years ago.

We will come together for a full day of discovery

First, we will understand the Yamas and Niyamas as they relate to our lives on and off the mat, setting intentions for how we would like to better embody this practice using the 1st and 2nd limbs of yoga as our guide.

Next, we will explore sensation. Specifically sensation as felt through our 3rd limb of Asana. I will take you through an All Levels asana class to help you better understand the biological prana (life energy) that animates your body. When you experience and sit with sensation as it arises, you build capacity to be with changing sensations on and off the mat.

Pranayama is our 4th limb where we will explore the power of breath. I will guide you through experiences with different breath techniques and share with you the transformational benefits of each.

Pratyahara is an opportunity to explore the senses in order shift from the feeling of being pushed around by all of the external stimuli. We will use Pratayhara to find balance within.

Dharana is focused concentration and Dhyana is meditation. I will guide you through different guided meditation experiences in order to feel the shift from doing to being.

Finally, Samadhi. Our 8th Limb of Liberation where I will use the practice of Yoga Nidra in order to reveal this truth, “You already are everything that you seek.”


You will receive all of this while being surrounded by the healing Himalayan Salt Walls at Quasar Quantum Healing. This is a beautiful studio space that will support further exploration of your inner landscape and allow you to receive the many therapeutic benefits of himalayan salt in order to deepen your experience.

Get ready to feel grounded and supported as you experience deep healing in the body.


You will leave this workshop rested and restored with a better understanding of yourself through the exploration of the 8 Limbs of Yoga and transformational experiences with the practice.

You will know how to take the 8 Limbs of Yoga off the mat and implement into every part of your life!

A Yoga Mat

Comfy clothes you can move around in

A blanket to cover up with in Yoga Nidra (and any additional support you may need in order to be supremely comfortable)

If you like to take notes - bring with you a pen and paper

Any snacks that will help sustain you throughout the day
